This book is another laugh a minute romp with our favorite characters and each book in the series just keeps getting better and better! haha we see a lot of things come to pass in this story (including a trip to the spa for our 2 besties Lacey and Meg: With hilarious results I might add, and even poor Clay gets in on the spa actions -- albeit quite unwillingly!)Carlos's jobs for Lacey keep getting more and more intense as we progress through the series and you gotta give our girl props she has one heck of an unorthodox way of getting results! and generally needs Anthony's assistance for the dangerous stuff but she totally rocks this whole working for the mob thing. The sense of family is even stronger in this book as we see Lacey becoming more and more used to having this raucous group of people having her back. (And finding new ways to dodge Nora's cookies! Self-preservation at its finest)
The tension between Lacey and Anthony is even more extreme and you can cut the tension with a knife almost! I really like them together haha. She drives him crazy with how she takes risks and dosen't always think everything through and make a plan before she goes out investigating but somehow he always 2 steps ahead and knows the best way to be of assistance ;) but she tries her best to get him to loosen up and just go with it so if gives them this sort opposites attract kind of relationship and it definitely makes them one of my favorite couples (who are not quite a couple yet haha)
The situations keep getting more intense and dare I say it? Cinematic in scope in these stories and this one is the best yet! It really showed off Gina's ability to bring the readers into the story and gives us the clearest picture of what is going on and keeps us enraptured until the very end haha. I always know that with her books when I finish the last page i'm gonna have this moment where you are just sitting there blinking and trying to readjust to the real world again! ( not gonna lie, sometimes it takes me a little bit haha you feel like you got ripped out of this place that you weren't quite ready to leave yet)

This book is the most outrageous adventure that Lacey has been on yet. She has to infiltrate a fancy spa to see if everything going on there is what it seems. Meg really shines in this one, and is just as wacky as ever. We also see more of Anthony’s sensitive side, which I really liked. There are also other recurring characters that you can’t get enough of, like Clay, Carlos, and Nora. I found myself laughing out loud at this book at times, which I didn’t mind one bit. I am looking forward to reading more about the Luzzi clan and their crazy lives!
Gina LaManna has held my interest from book 1 and I am looking forwark to reading all of the Lacey Luzzi Mysteries. I like to tead them in order to see just how wverything develops but these an be read as stand alone books Lacey is the main character and there is her best friend Meg and cousin Clay and bodyguard amongst other things Anthony. All characters are well developed and I find myself chuckeling throught the book every so often. I would definitely reccommend this series to anyone who likes to read.
I really do love this series. Lacey is a slob and eats like a five year old but she makes me laugh out loud! I would really enjoy it if she and Anthony would finally get together. I'm not sure why her ex Blake is still in the picture. Love triangles don't interest me. Strong plot lines and somewhat crazy friends and family are definitely a plus. The humor is just right. Gina please have Lacey buy some new clothes!!
This is the 3rd Lacey Luzzi book I have read... I'm hooked!!! There is another being published soon, so I'm looking forward to snatching it up immediately. Initially, I never thought I could like a series about the comical exploits of a Mafia Family member, but I was so, so wrong. They are light reads and have given me hours of enjoyment. Thank you, Gina LaManna, for your talent for such writing that brings so much pleasure.
This is a great book. Lacey is a compelling character. With the help of Anthony and Clay she goes undercover to investigate another case for Carlos. Clay comes up with more gadgets, but his computer won't help in this case. Lacey and her eccentric friend Meg have some good times. Lacey's grandmother, and Carlos, even tries to play match maker for Lacey while attempting to tie it together with family fitness. Lacey even moves into a new house and is adjusting to what its like being away from her cousin Clay. The story is unique and just as good as the first two; it is hilarious, fun, and there's plenty of action. Everyone should read all these books, I highly recommend them.
Lacey's family is mobbed up. However, they are a softer & gentler mob. Carlos loves his newly discovered granddaughter, Lacey. In order to help her make ends meet (her short career as a stripper was very unsuccessful - one night), he gives her small jobs helping out the family. This time Lacey is supposed to find out the names of people running a prostitution ring & tell Carlos, a mob boss who thinks prostitution is wrong! With the help of her crazy, ex-cop BFF Meg, her techno/nerd cousin Clay, & hunky sex-on-a-stick head of Carlos' security Anthony, Lacey trips & blunders through clues & a spa trying to track down the guilty players. The characters are funny, the plot twists & turns, & the chemistry between Anthony & Lacey sizzles. Can't wait for book 4 due out this summer.
Laugh out loud hilarious. Megan and Lacey at the spa having to go in the buff, seriously I have never laughed so hard in my life. That part was funny. Could Anthony get any hotter. He is always there to save Lacey. This book had some scary parts where I was worried that something would happen and Anthony wouldn't be able to save her or something would happen to him. Couldn't sleep until I finished reading. Every book in this series is wonderful. Once you start reading you won't be able to stop. Gina LaManna has a writing style that pulls you in where you feel like your part of the gang. Love the interaction between the characters. Lacey,Clay,Meg, and Anthony are the perfect team to solve any problem.
